Goodman Manufacturing Company Invites You to Enjoy “Virtually Impossible” With Mike Duseberg
Watch the video for a special invitation from Mike Duseberg…
Here’s Your Guide to Successfully Participating in the “Virtually Impossible Show”
(Following these steps will eliminate almost all technical issues during the show!)
Step One:
Download the Zoom App
Zoom works best if you’re using their app, whether you’re on a PC or a mobile device (like a tablet or phone). If you don’t already have the Zoom app on your device, click the button below and download the proper app for your device.
(The button below opens a new tab, so you’ll be able to return to this page when you have downloaded the app).
Note: You don’t need the Zoom app to participate in the show, but our guests find the app works better than the browser version.
Step Two:
Screen Mirroring
The best way to watch the show is to mirror your PC, laptop, tablet, or phone to your flatscreen television.
This way the whole family can enjoy the show together, just like you’re watching television.
(Android devices have many different manufacturers and systems, but this article shows you how to use “screen cast” that can be picked up by almost any smart TV that’s connected to WiFi).
Step Three:
You’ll Get an Email
The night of the show, you’ll receive an email from Goodman Manufacturing with a link to the show.
When you click the link, your device will ask you for permission to use the Zoom app.
Select “Allow,” and you’ll be taken directly to the “waiting room” for the show. Our producer will start letting people into the showroom about 5 minutes before showtime.
When you enter the show room, you’ll see a countdown clock so you’ll know exactly when the show will start.
Step Five:
Show Time!
We’re looking forward to seeing you on April 21st at 7pm CST.
It’s very important that you arrive on time. We usually open the Waiting Room about 15 minutes before showtime and start admitting guests to the Show Room about 5 minutes before showtime.
Don’t Forget to Have Your Audience Participation Kit Nearby.
For Best Results:
Make sure your Zoom screen is set to “Speaker” view (so you see one large picture in the middle of the screen, and not a grid of small pictures). If your screen is set to “Gallery,” click the word “Gallery” to switch to “Speaker” view.
Turn your camera on.
Your microphone will be set to “mute” at the beginning of the show. Mike will tell you when to unmute.
If you don’t wish to participate in the show, please leave your camera off.
Have Fun!
